About
Dennis held senior partnership roles at McMillan LLP and Fasken in Vancouver. He was the Head of Fasken's National Forestry Practice Group and the Chair of the Forestry Sector with the BC Chamber of Commerce. In the United States, he was the Head of Legal for Arctic Precious Metals, Inc. dba Royal Oak Mines, a gold mining company with operations in Canada.
While working offshore as an investment funds and private client and trust attorney, he was consistently ranked as a leading practitioner by global attorney ranking agencies, including Chambers and Partners, Legal 500, IFLR and Who's Who Middle East. While practicing law in the Cayman Islands, Dennis was an Adjunct Professor of Business and Company Law at the University College of the Cayman Islands. His legal articles have been published globally, including in The Brief, The Oath, India Business Law Journal, Asian Counsel, Islamic Finance News, Hedgeweek, Hedge Funds Review, AIQ (Alternative Intelligence Quotient), STEP Journal and the Cayman Financial Review.
